Description:

This in-house charette was for a private client in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. The objective, to revitalize buildings adjacent to a major plaza in the city. Using inspiration from Architect/Designer Michael Rojkind, the idea for a sleek, white metal, building skin, with varying perforations minimizing the obstruction of views, became the focus of the concept. The panels with a wavy pattern to them, correlating to various floor levels in the building, would provide a new look to the plaza. At night time, integrated LEDs would light the form, creating a new beacon to the downtown city scape.
